What Santa Left

So I was a dork and left my camera in my sister in law car. I felt bad cause when the kids woke up and ran down stairs to see what was left and I went to reach for my camera, I then realized where I had left it. Well we had a great Christmas and everyone came over and we had a great time.
Desiree: DS (pink)
a mountain bike
clothes
crafty things
and lots of gift cards
jewelry
boots
Phillip: DS (black)
a mountain bike
Ed Hardy shirts
skateboard
gift cards
toys
a art set
I got a new ring. A while back I was upset with my hubby and I got mad and threw it at him and lets say it was never to be seen again. So he knew that he had to get me another one. I love it, of course I had to go with him to pick it out and make sure that it was the right size and one that I would wear.
All in all we had a great Christmas. We were surrounded by loved ones and we talked all night. It was great to be back in Vegas where we belong.

In Vegas Really !!!

So this is what we woke up to on Thursday morning. We had the most wonderful snowstorm ever. I think that we did. You see it never sticks on our side of town. Everyone on the South West or North West get all the snow. I was talking with my friend Marian and she telling me that her kids are making snowmen, I was just wanting it to stick. Well then it is almost time for the kids to get home from school and I go outside hoping that they are getting a ride home from the neighbors and low behold there is snow everywhere.
Phillip woke me up early on Thursday cause the had a SNOWDAY, really in Vegas a SNOWDAY. I went outside and took pictures of Sunrise Mountain, cause that is one mountain that never gets any. We decided to take a ride around and drove up to the Temple and we saw this wonderful sight.

This is what it looked like when we woke up I think that this is one beautiful picture.

We were being silly and I wanted to get a picture of us in the snow. After Desiree's concert was cancelled we decided to go to the park next to the school and play in it.
Just look at all the pretty snow. I know that we didn't get alot of it not like other parts of town. We got about 2.5 inches in our part and Henderson got 8 inches and Mt. Charleston got 11 inches can you believe it, it still looks great today.
Phil was making snow angels, he knew that his chances for ever making another one near the house with out going up to the mountains was slim.

Dear Santa....

Well the kids have been busy with their Christmas list. They usually change it about 20 times before they settle with what they really want. So last night after doing homework, eating dinner and showers. i had them write their final choices to Santa. They both looked at me like I was crazy. Des was the first to pipe up and say, um hello we are 11 here. The boy was next to say yea mom. I looked at them both and was about to cry and realized that my babies are no longer babies. I still had them do it. I told them both that they will write letters until they are 18 and out of my house. They started laughing and so did Chris. He told me to let them go and eventually they are going to grow up.

This has to be one of the hardest Holidays for parents. Realizing that when you go from buying Preschool toys to buying gift cards cause that is what they ask for, so they can buy what they want. So with this last bit of information to our friends and families. We love everyone and we wish everyone a Merry and Happy Christmas!

Merry Christmas

I decided that this year I would make Christmas cards and send them out. Hopefully everyone got the ones I sent out. I took the kids up to the Temple and they had a great time being there. We took a couple of different pictures. We settled on the second one. Des loved the way it looks with the background. We all had a great time being there, I think next time we go I just might join the fun and take a couple of pictures with them. We wish everyone a Merry and safe Holiday.
